Starting us of on this Batman themed Super Sunday of previews is the news of Batman’s newest enemy and the Joker’s newest friend, Punchline.

Possibly hoping for lightning to strike twice, DC Comics are introducing this newest female friend of the Joker, who’s about to make her comic book debut – albeit in just the one panel of the forthcoming Batman #89 (written by James Tynion IV with art by Guillem March and colors by Tomeu Morey), out February 19th – ahead of her very own one-shot special, Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen #3; written by Tynion IV with art by Steve Epting & Javier Fernandez with colors by Nick Filardi.

Here’s the reveal from Batman #89:

And, a tease for Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen #3, out February 26th.

As a bonus, here’s Jorge Jimenez’s character design for this new villain and Batman rogue. He’ll be making his Batman debut on issue #90 with Punchline, Joker and more revving up for the ‘Joker Wars‘ kicking off in Batman #95.

You may want to talk with your local comic book store to save you a copy and avoid disappointment. Seems DC Comics are expecting Batman #89 to be a very hot comic.
