It’s French Revolution In A Preview Of Next Week’s Legends Of Tomorrow

by Erik Amaya

On the next Legends of Tomorrow, the team heads for France in the wake of the Revolution. But it seems the head of Marie Antoinette (Courtney Ford) has plans for the nation and for the Legends. Judging from this preview, it appears to be a pretty great party … at least until it isn’t.

And now that we’re into a story roughly about Nora (also Ford), it is interesting to see her arc heading toward a conclusion. Her ability to redeem Freddy Meyers (Seth Meriwether) mostly by talking to him is a huge leap from where she was when we first met her. Hopefully, we’ll get a few more episodes with her and Ray (Brandon Routh) before they head off to their presumably happy ending.
Speaking of happy endings, one wonders if Mick’s (Dominic Purcell) surprise prom date is an exit strategy for the character or just a good joke.
Meanwhile, we’re warming up to Zari 2.0 (Tala Ashe), but hope her time on the Waverider will bring a little bit more of the old Zari back. As it is, her little talk with Behrad (Shayan Sobhian) made her a bit more human than a voracious Instagrammer. And, y’know, we’d love to see her remember Nate (Nick Zano).
But if the season can keep with fun episodes like this and contain the bummer vibe to John Constantine’s (Matt Ryan) story, this may be the best season yet.
Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays on The CW.
