Super Sunday: First Looks At AWA Studios Debut Issues Coming Up

With a promotional video released last week to remind comic book readers that there’s yet another new game in town, AWA Studios are primed for the release of their first late of books and we thought on this weekend’s edition of Super Sunday we’d give you a first look at a number of these new series, finishing up with an advance review of  J. Michael Straczynski (Rising Stars, The Amazing Spider-Man) and Mike Deodato Jr.’s (Bezerker, The Avengers) The Resistance #1, which we’ve previously given you a glimpse at.

We’ll be looking behind the covers of Fight Girls #1 by Frank Cho, Year Zero #1 by Benjamin Percy (X-Force) and Ramon Rosanas (Ant-Man: Astonishing Origins), Red Border #1 by author Jason Star (Fugitive Red) and Will Conrad (Angel & Faith), Hotell #1 by John Lees (Mountainhead) and Dalibor Talijic (Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe) and Archangel 8 #1 by Michael Moreci (Wasted Space) and C.P. Smith (The New Invaders).
In between all this we also have our regular look at a choice graphic novel we think you’d like in Something for the Weekend as well as a look at May’s DC Comics’ solicits.
