Explosions & Venom Blasts Await In ‘Spider-Woman #1’ Trailer

Spider-Woman #1 is fast approaching and to celebrate the release of the new ongoing series starring Jessica Drew, Marvel Comics has given us a taste of the action with a special trailer featuring writer Karla Pacheco, Executive Editor Nick Lowe, and Editor Jack Thomas.
One of the coolest things about Spider-Woman is she can throw punches with your no-name grunts or she can throw punches with Kang the Conqueror. This series gives you Jessica Drew doing what Jessica Drew does best which is kick some butt!
Spider-Woman has worn many hats since she debuted on the scene in 1977. She’s been a super hero, a secret agent, a private investigator, and more. She’ll need all those skills and more when she faces off against the mysterious and deadly Octavia Vermis.
Writer Karla Pacheco added:
Jess is interfering with her business. You don’t want to get in the way of Octavia’s business. We’re taking [Jessica] in a completely new direction but still trying to stay true to that character. I think people are gonna love it.
The new Spider-Woman series, illustrated by Pere Perez, features the character in a brand new costume designed by Dave Johnson.

Spider-Woman #1 is set for release on March 18th, 2020.
