Wrestling Legend Kenny Omega Interviews Yoshinori Kitase About ‘Final Fantasy VII’

Considering his finishing move is literally called the “One-Winged Angel,” this clash of two completely different worlds isn’t terribly surprising. Former NJPW (and current AEW) star Kenny Omega sat down with Final Fantasy VII’s Yoshinori Kitase and got to run down several questions about the game in an interview that lasts over twenty minutes.
Some of the questions Kenny asked include whether or not the original Final Fantasy VII was limited by the PlayStation hardware of that time, what are the origins of Final Fantasy VII’s lead villain Sephiroth, and a key question for Square fans everywhere: would Kitase be interested in more Parasite Eve at some point.
