Further to that, you may want to read up on some of the literary sources behind this book. It certainly made me go back to this thrilling and very fertile period in literary history and have just read She by H. Rider Haggard and the novella Carmilla by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu, both available for free online. And, I must say, I’m loving this new zest for reading. Or rather, finding the time in the day to read and enjoy a good book.
