Preview: ‘John Carpenter’s Halloween Night’ Vol. 5 Offers Up 12 New Tales Of Terror

by Olly MacNamee

Over the weekend we previewed John Carpenter’s Asylum #1 from Storm King Productions, but there are so many more titles out there too. So, today we thought we’d preview a more recent collection of spooky stories with a look at award-winning title, John Carpenter’s Halloween Night Vol. 5 available digitally on comiXology now.
As well as John Carpenter, Sandy King and Steve Niles contributing scripts for this volume, there’s also art provided by the likes of Tim Bradstreet (who provides the cover art), Jason Felix and Chandra Free, and more. Here’s a look at Dead Man Walking, the opener of this volume.
And, do remember these can also be bought as physical copies, so maybe ask your store to keep you any copies you may want if you enjoy this, or you’re a fan of horror and John Carpenter.

From the mind of John Carpenter, the man who brought you the cult classic horror film Halloween and all of the scares beyond, and the heart of writer, editor, producer Sandy King comes 12 more twisted tales of terror, tricks, and treats. In volume 5 of the award-winning graphic novel series, they bring together another stellar ensemble of storytellers from the worlds of movies, novels, and comics for another spine-tingling collection of stories that will haunt you. Each story is a standalone surprise that captures the essence of fright night. We dare you to read it all the way to the end. If you get too scared, remember, it’s only a comic. It’s only a comic… or is it?
