Sunday Service (Part 1): Kickstarting Comics

by Olly MacNamee

Another Sunday observing the lockdown currently in place and therefore another ‘Sunday Service’, this time taking a look at comic book projects that have caught our eye over on Kickstarter. If this recent distribution disaster has taught us anything, it’s that there are other ways of distributing comics, albeit on a smaller scale. But, it is a model that creators using Kickstarter have found fits them as they aren’t big companies producing umpteen number of books, but rather creators putting together one comic book, or graphic novel at a time. So, why not stick around and see what we recommend you may want to look into with all that cold hard cash we’re all saving at the moment with no new comics out.

Remember, we’ll be posting on the hour every hour throughout the afternoon. We do hope you’ll join us and keep this coronavirus blues way.
