The ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Enter The Greek System In A Preview Of Next Week’s Show

by Erik Amaya

Next week on Legends of Tomorrow, the team heads to college in search of an artifact which may help Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) use the Loom of Fate. And while the mission may seem simple enough, this preview of the episode suggests Nate (Nick Zano) may fall under the spell of the chug-a-lug spirit as he attempts to rush a frat. Will it fill his need for camaraderie now that Ray is gone and Behrad is (presently) deceased?

The episode will also see Mick (Dominic Purcell) escorting his daughter Lita (Mina Sundwall) to a college visit at the same school. Based on this week’s show, the two are finally starting to bond, but it is easy to see this trip setting things back a bit. Will she ever be able to forgive him for spending all those years in jail?
As it happens, his story — and Sara’s (Caity Lotz) for that matter — feels like the beginning of an exit. Mick may find he needs to erase his criminal past for Lita’s sake. He may even sacrifice his friendship with Leonard Snart, which would be a huge thing if that is where the plot is taking him. Of course, it is possible the story will just leave Mick in a better emotional space heading into Season 6. Either way, it’s nice to see the show giving him more to do.
In Sara’s case, it’s felt like she’s been somewhere else since the Crisis. Which is fine as Ava (Jes Macallan) is a fine replacement. Should Sara and Mick leave, it will be interesting to see a version of Legends without any of the Season 1 characters. It would make the show more evergreen as characters can be cycled in and out. If that is the long term strategy, we hope Booster Gold and Blue Beetle make their way to the Waverider. They’d totally fit in.
Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays on The CW.
