Geoff Johns And Jason Fabok’s ‘Batman: The Three Jokers’ Rescheduled Again, But New Art Emerges

Batman: The Three Jokers three-parter by Geoff Johns, Jason Fabok and Brad Anderson, that always seems to be slipping from the schedule since its as first teased way, way back in Justice League #50 of the Nu52 run and since then we’ve had a DC Rebirth and Johns moving away from DC Comics writing and further into TV work for the company.

Well, we’re now being told that the new release date for the first issue will now be Tuesday August 25th, so still some time away then. But, in an attempt to rebuild hype for this series, which live Johns’s work on Doomsday Clock is purposefully derivative – in this case of Alan Moore and Brian Bolland’s The Killing Joke – DC Comics have released 4 new pages of artwork.

Batman: The Three Jokers #1 will be published through their Black Label imprint, so who knows if will even be considered cannon at this point. But, having enjoyed Johns and Fabok’s work together in the past, especially on Justice League, I still have high hopes for this new series.
