The Dramatic Romance Trilogy Continues In ‘Breaks 2: Truth And Dare’

Breaks, the acclaimed weekly web series, is getting its second collection next month from Soaring Penguin Press. The series from creators Emma Vieceli and Malin Rydén follows Ian and Cortland as they realize the bubble they’ve made for themselves can’t last. Relationships are shifted and friendships are tested, but that’s the least of their worries as they learn more about each other and their pasts and they’d rather leave some of that behind. Is their foundation stronger than secrecy?

Breaks 2: Truth and Dare collects the second arc of the weekly web series which originally ran from 2017-2019.
Co-writer and artist Emma Vieceli says:

If arc one was the budding of a romance play set against a dirty schoolyard backcloth, arc two is where the schoolyard backdrop falls down and reveals the real set; it’s jagged and dangerous, and Cort and Ian are going to need what they found in arc one to get through it. Some mysteries are revealed and some deepen. Expect everything to be turned up. More drama, more twists…oh, and a lot more smooching.

Breaks 2: Truth and Dare is set for release on June 15th, 2020.
