‘Goosebumps Dead of Night’ Coming To Consoles And PC This Summer

by Gary Catig

Fans of the popular children’s horror books, Goosebumps, will be excited to learn a new video game will be arriving this summer inspired by the series. Scholastic, Sony Pictures Consumer Products and the game company, Cosmic Forces, are teaming up for Goosebumps Dead of Night. The title is a spooky first-person survival horror game that will launch on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC.
In it, Slappy the Dummy has stolen pages from the classic Goosebumps tales and unleashes monsters direct from the stories including Graveyard Ghoul, Lawn Gnomes, Annihilator 3000, Murder the Clown, and the Werewolf of Fever Swamp to prevent you from recollecting the pages and banishing these dangers back from where they came. Visit familiar locales as you hide from the monsters, search for clues and solve Slappy’s challenging puzzles.
The game is a reimagining of the mobile VR title, Goosebumps Night of Scares with enhanced HD graphics, additional chapters, an expanded Stine House with more puzzles and five terrifying new monsters. For those who purchase the Switch version, there is HD Rumble functionality, touchscreen support and gyroscopic controls.

Goosebumps Dead of Night will come out this summer on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC.
