NIS America Share 3 Announcements At New Game + Expo

With E3 not happening this year, other virtual events have tried to fill the void for publishers looking to announce their latest projects. On of those events, New Game + Expo ,was this week and NIS America had three exciting reveals from the show.
Arriving next year is Ys IX: Monstrum Nox on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. In the game, renowned adventurer Adol “the Red’ Christin and his companion Dogi arrive at Balduq, a city annexed by the Romun Empire. Adol is arrested and while in jail he is changed into a Monstrum by an enigmatic woman named Aprillis. As a Monstrum, Adol is granted supernatural Gifts and the power to exorcise monsters. He teams up with other Monstrums to protect the land from dangerous creatures originating from the shadowy dimension of Grimwald Nox. In the process, he learns more about his Monstrum curse and why there is so much strife in Balduq.

Also coming in 2021 on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch is the action RPG Fallen Legion Revenants. In this world, everything is covered in miasma and the only safe place for humans is a floating castle called Welkin. A charismatic politician named Lucien finds an ancient book that describes a powerful weapon. He partners with a revenant named Rowena, who is searching for a means to come back to life so she can raise her living son. Together, the pair plot to overthrow the despotic ruler of Welkin.

Then a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Trails of Cold Steel IV was revealed. It shows the new Class VII using their strength and determination to face the imminent threats both in front of and behind their instructor’s back. The game is set for release on PlayStation 4 this October 27th with Switch and PC releases planned for next year.
