Eye-Popping Artwork Coming In ‘Batman: The Animated Series – The Phantom City Creative Collection’

Batman: The Animated Series was not just a defining TV show for an entire generation. It was also a breathtaking masterpiece of artwork. Insight Editions and Mondo are celebrating this in Batman: The Animated Series – The Phantom City Creative Collection, a new art book delving into the incredible work from Justin Erickson paying tribute to the series. The book features an introduction by Paul Dini, a writer and producer of Batman: The Animated Series.



I’m not usually one for art books, but I think I’ll have to make an exception for this. It’s not just because BTAS is near and dear to my heart, but because this is some of the best illustrations I’ve ever seen. Just look at these!



Batman: The Animated Series – The Phantom City Creative Collection is set for release in September 2020. It clocks in at 144 pages and will retail for $60. It is currently available for pre-order at your local comic shop, book store, and Amazon.
