AHOY Comics Announce A Second Season Of ‘Second Coming’ From Russell, Kirk And Pace

It’s official! CBR.com broke the news that Second Coming is getting a second series courtesy of AHOY Comics, Mark Russell, Richard Pace and Leonard Kirk. Called Second Coming: Only Begotten Son, AHOY Comics have released a very early first look at the debut issue, coming out this December 16th, just ahead of Jesus’ birthday. The preview below offers up a good indication of what to expect as we get a retelling of Sunstar origin and a story many will find all too familiar.
“The savior and the superhero return for a new round of shared adventures––but first we turn back time to witness the interplanetary origin of Sunstar! Warning: portrays science denial, mass extinction, and real estate sales!”
