Jupiter Jet Returns This Fall With New Sci-Fi OGN From Action Lab

by James Ferguson

A new all-ages sci-fi adventure begins this Fall in Jupiter Jet and the Forgotten Radio, a new original graphic novel from writer Jason Inman, artist Ashley Victoria Robinson, colorist Elizabeth Kramer, and letterer Taylor Esposito. Published by Action Lab Entertainment, the comic follows 17-year-old super hero Jupiter Jet as she looks to do more than just keeping her city of Olympic Heights safe. She gets that chance when the mysterious Black Flyer arrives, threatening the entire world.

Writer Jason Inman says:

I love science fiction. Spaceships, robots, and unknown enemies with laser blasters are great fodder for a writer. Where Jupiter Jet Volume 1 was an all-ages homage of the adventure serials of yore, Jupiter Jet and the Forgotten Radio plonks our hero deep in the realm of sci-fi. I can’t wait for comic fans of all-ages to read how this journey will push Jupiter Jet forward and where it will lead her next!

I backed the Kickstarter campaign for this book so I’m glad to see it reaching a larger audience with Action Lab. The shift for the series from single issues to OGNs is a smart move for the all-ages space as it provides a whole story in one spot.
Artist Ashley Victoria Robinson added:

The best thing Jupiter Jet brought us was readers of all ages. Families coming together to meet Jacky Johnson and watch her take to the sky. I felt tremendous responsibility to evolve Jacky into the young woman these growing families would meet again in Jupiter Jet and the Forgotten Radio. This new chapter is something I am so proud of, as it echoes so many stories I have loved.

Jupiter Jet and the Forgotten Radio features a cover by Jonboy Meyers. It’s set for release at your local comic shop on October 7th, 2020 and at bookstores and Amazon on October 20th, 2020.
