‘Todd McFarlane: Like Hell I Won’t’ Trailer Offers Glimpse Of Todd’s Tale

by Erik Amaya

Syfy’s original documentary about Image Comics is an underrated gems about an era of big changes in the industry. And now, they’re focusing on one of the members of the Image Revolution with the upcoming Todd McFarlane: Like Hell I Won’t. Based on the following trailer, it appears to tell the tale of a struggling artist making his way through the halls of DC and Marvel before joining a handful of other creators to establish Image. Of course, Todd McFarlane‘s interests stem beyond the comic page, so expect segments on his toy company, the fight to get Spawn to the big screen, and that baseball he spent a mint to acquire. It also seems like we will get some info on the bankruptcy and the infamous lawsuit with Neil Gaiman for control of Angela and, oddly, Miracleman/Marvelman. Hopefully, there will be some balance to the stories while still giving McFarlane his due for staying in business and keeping Spawn in print.

Todd McFarlane: Like Hell I Won’t airs July 25th on Syfy.
