Microsoft and 343 Studios have confirmed that their upcoming Halo Infinite title will be delayed until sometime in 2021. This comes after the game’s reveal during the Xbox Games Showcase, where fans derided the game’s graphics for being substandard for a next-gen console. With release only months away, Microsoft seems to have chosen to delay the title altogether rather than hope it comes together in the final months of development.
Currently, there is no new release date for the title, so it could simply be delayed into the next quarter and release in March, or it could be pushed back to next Fall. Hopefully, the game will turn out to be a true example of next-gen quality thanks to the delay.
