DC FanDome: Lucius Fox To Join ‘Pennyworth’ Cast Of Characters

Although Pennyworth‘s DC FanDome Panel was moved to September, show creator Bruno Heller offered one bit of news during a Hall of Heroes’s video interstitial: Lucius Fox is joining Alfred’s team.
Or, at least, Thomas (Ben Aldridge) is bringing Fox — who has not been cast yet — into the London fold. No matter why or how he joins the group, Heller said he will be essential to the latter half of the second season. Jack Bannon returns as Alfred Pennyworth, the ex SAS officer whose brush with Thomas Wayne brings him into a world of intrigue, murder, and the Queen.
As we’ve mentioned before, Pennyworth is an unusual show. Stranger than Gotham and stronger than its “Batman’s butler gets a spinoff” boilerplate. If you haven’t had a chance to watch it, the entire first season is available on Starz.
It is unclear when the second season will go into production, but expect it to debut late in 2021.
