AfterShock Comics Announce Film Deal With Sony Pictures For James Patrick And Rem Boo’s ‘The Kaiju Score’

The Kaiju Score #1 from Aftershock Comics – think Godzilla meets Quentin Tarantino – hasn’t had its debut issue out yet and its already garnered the interest of Hollywood and landed a deal with Sony Pictures.
Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch will produce, along with Tony Shaw and AfterShock Comics’ Lee Kramer and Jon Kramer will also produce. Meanwhile, Jiao Chen is overseeing the project for Sony Pictures. Othe people involved include Sony Pictures’ Drew Reed and Jake Bauman were instrumental in the deal, as was Rive Gauche Television with Steve Burkow of Ziffren, Brittenham, who negotiated on behalf of AfterShock. That’s a lot of people involved in just this one deal, and a first for AfterShock.
