The Trigan Empire (1965 – 1982) holds a very special place in many of UK’s adults who grew up in the 1960s and 1970s. Appearing in the educational and entertaining magazine Look and Learn, The Trigan Empire was a futuristic saga based on the Roman Empire with plenty of ancient mythology incorporated into this epic story, and written by Mike Butterworth with sumptuous painted art by Don Lawrence. The first volume came out a while back and now from Rebellion Publishing and The Treasury of British Comics are offering a limited edition, numbered hardback second volume with a cover by Liam Sharp.

Among the distant stars, fractious tribes come together to found a mighty empire that will wage war against aggressive kingdoms, battle alien invaders, and conceive of incredible new technologies. This extraordinary volume continues to chart the glorious Rise and Fall of the Trigan Empire!

You only need to glance at these preview pages to recognise the hand of a master at work, and if you want to secure this time-limited edition you’ve got until September 30th to guarantee your copy of this edition of The Rise and Fall of the Trigan Empire Vol. 2 here. Shipping in December.
