Preview: The Monster Apocalypse Is Nigh- ‘The Last Halloween Vol. 1: Children’

In time for Halloween, Iron Circus Comics announced a 400+ page scare-fest by cartoonist Abby Howard, The Last Halloween Volume 1: Children. Aimed at the Young Adult crowd, The Last Halloween is full of grisly mayhem and dark humor. 

Kids (and adults) will especially relate to Mona, a reluctant tween, as she goes from stuck at home bored to potential savior of the human race. It’s a traditional hero’s journey that’s easy to follow, yet full of unexpected twists and turns through Abby’s wild imagination.

‘It’s Halloween night and 10-year-old Mona is stuck inside without so much as a scary movie to watch. She figures this Halloween couldn’t get any worse, but a giant monster appears in her living room to prove her very, very wrong.
