Watch The First Trailer For Netflix’s New Anime ‘Blood of Zeus’

Blood of Zeus (previously titled Gods and Heroes) is a Netflix original anime from Powerhouse Animation. It follows Heron, an original character for the series, who discovers he’s the son of Zeus and must stop the conflict between Olympians and Titans.
I’ve enjoyed Powerhouse Animation’s work on Castlevania and Seis Manos. However, Blood of Zeus looks a little generic. There have been many film adaptations of Greek mythology pitting Olympians against Titans with a demi-god as a chosen one. The newly released video game Hades looks like a much slicker anime-styled take on Greek mythology by comparison. It’ll be a titanic task to make Blood of Zeus stand out from the pack.
Blood of Zeus will be streaming on Netflix October 27th.
