In Furie a debt collector’s daughter is kidnapped by organ harvesters and she must save her daughter before its too late. What makes Furie stand out from every other action movie is the setting of Vietnam and the believable relationship between mother and daughter. The film is like a drama that suddenly shifts into an action film but never loses the emotional stakes. The Furie is still human, she’s a mother terrified for her child’s life, and that’s what makes her fights all the more badass.
