First Trailer For Disney’s New Fantasy Film ‘Raya And The Last Dragon’

Raya and the Last Dragon is the latest film from Disney animation and appears to be breaking the mold both visually and tonally. The character is more mature and the tone of the film is heavily action oriented.
Many of Disney’s recent animated features have lacked teeth and relayed heavily on the company’s pre-established brand and expectations. In that regard Raya is a welcome change of pace that looks more in line with the The Legend of Korra or Kubo and the Two Strings. Animation has always been a perfect medium to tell fantasy stories, hopefully Raya and the Last Dragon will be one of many great adventures to come.
