TB Digital Comic Con 2020: In Conversation With Kevin Smith

by Olly MacNamee

If you’re going to go out, go out with a bang. And that’s exactly what Thought Bubble has done this year with the last video presentation of the day being a chat with Kevin Smith.

Festival Manager Chloe Green has the privilege of interviewing Smith on his own love of comics, how he got into them, his desire to write for comics (which he has on several occasions now, and does talk about his run on Green Arrow here) and more in the following presentation:

“Filmmaker, comic book writer, podcaster and all-round comic culture hero Kevin Smith sits down (at a safe 3,400mile distance) with Chloe Green, Thought Bubble Festival Manager, to chat about the comics that have influenced his life, film and creative career over the years; including sharing some incredible tips for inspiring writers.”

That’s a wrap for another Thought Bubble and that’s also a wrap for us here at Comicon.com for this busy weekend. I may have not been able to be there in person, but I’m still rather bushed. It certainly feels like I was.

Have a good one, everyone and see you all again over the comic week when we’ll be bringing you the usual news, reviews and previews and the odd surprise too!
