Dark Horse Launches Line Of Water Bottles

Dark Horse is more than just a comics and book publisher. It’s now also the maker of new age, collectible water bottles. It has announced a new line of 17-ounce stainless-steel, double-wall insulated water bottles featuring designs from Umbrella Academy, Cyberpunk 2077, and The Witcher with more to follow. The first batch will arrive in February 2021.

“A newly released study says that a mind-bending 53 trillion metric tons of plastic pollution will be in our oceans, rivers, lakes, and streams by 2030.” says Dark Horse Comics CEO, Mike Richardson. “Plastic has been found in everything from whales to zooplankton, and is affecting nearly all living creatures. Hundreds of different animal species are known to have suffered from entanglement and ingestion of plastic debris. Plastic debris is estimated to kill more than 100,000 marine mammals annually, as well as millions of birds and fishes.”

A portion of each bottle’s sales will be donated to the Environmental Defense Fund, an organization dedicated to preserving the world’s natural resources. They will retail for $19.99 each and will arrive on February 10th, 2021. They are available for pre-order at your local comic shop.
