Sideshow and ‘Critical Role’ Partner To Develop Licensed Collectibles

by Gary Catig

The popular web series, Critical Role, follows a group of friends playing Dungeons & Dragons. It has amassed quite the following and has branched out into other fields such as an animated series, books and comics. Now the brand has teamed up with Sideshow to launch a new collection of fine art and collectible figures that cover both campaigns – Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein.

The first wave of upcoming products include the Mighty Nein: This is How We Roll! Fine Art Print by artist Ian MacDonald. It captures a candid moment of the adventurers taking a quick pitstop at a tavern and is packed with visual Easter eggs. The print is currently up for pre-order and has custom frame and unframed options.

The next two pieces feature members of the Mighty Nein and will be up for pre-order on January 14, 2021. The Beau Statue embodies the indomitable spirit of the Mighty Nein’s energetic human Monk, while the Fjord Statue portrays the strength and stoicism of the half-orc Warlock channeling his patron’s power. Both these three-dimensional representations of the beloved heroes are accurately detailed with the characters’ costumes and acquired treasures from throughout their Campaign 2 escapades.
