‘Mighty Marvel Masterworks’ Reprint Classics In Digest Format

Go back to the beginning for Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and more in Mighty Marvel Masterworks. Marvel has announced a new line of graphic novels in 6×9 digest format reprinting the stories that kicked off the sagas for these iconic characters from the minds of Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko.
Mighty Marvel Masterworks: The Amazing Spider-Man – With Great Power collects Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #1-10 and material from Amazing Fantasy (1962) #15. This includes Peter Parker’s very first web-slinging adventures including his origin story, the first appearances of the Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson, Doctor Octopus, the Sandman, the Vulture, and Electro, plus guest appearances of the Fantastic Four and Human Torch. It features a cover by Michael Cho and an exclusive comic book shop cover by Steve Ditko.
Mighty Marvel Masterworks: The Amazing Spider-Man – With Great Power is due out on June 22nd, 2021.
Mighty Marvel Masterworks: The X-Men – The Strangest Super Heroes of All collects Uncanny X-Men (1963) #1-10, highlighting Professor X’s original teen team as they look to forge peace between man and mutantkind. Meet Cyclops, Angel, Beast, Iceman, and Marvel Girl as they have their first encounter with the Master of Magnetism, Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
Mighty Marvel Masterworks: The X-Men – The Strangest Super Heroes is set for release on August 24th, 2021.
Mighty Marvel Masterworks: The Fantastic Four – Volume 1 collects Fantastic Four (1951) #1-10 and features the fateful cosmic voyage of scientist Reed Richards, pilot Ben Grimm, and siblings Sue and Johnny Storm that changed their lives forever. They became Mr. Fantastic, the Thing, the Invisible Girl, and the Human Torch. This book features their early days such as their first battles with the Mole Man, the Skrulls, the Puppet Master, the Sub-Mariner, and Doctor Doom. I do wonder why this book didn’t get its own cool subtitle.
Mighty Marvel Masterworks: The Fantastic Four – Volume 1 will debut on July 27th, 2021.
