‘Demon Slayer’ Gets An Arena Fighting Game In “Demon Slayer: Hinokami Keppuutan”
by Sage Ashford
At the same time as the announcement of the upcoming Demon Slayer Season 2 during the celebration of the anime’s second anniversary, it was confirmed that the upcoming Demon Slayer game was going to be an arena fighter entitled Demon Slayer: Hinokami Keppuutan. Developed by CyberConnect2 (and published by Aniplex), this looks like an improvement on their Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series. Currently, they’ve shown off seven minutes of footage of the upcoming game, which features main character Tanjiro Kamado and his sister Nezuko, along with Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibara, and Giyu Tomioka as playable characters.
Not much else is known about the game at the moment, other than it’s meant to launch 2021 and will be available on current-gen and last-gen consoles, as well as Steam.
