Selling Out! Vault Comics’ ‘Hollow Hearts’ #1 And Image Comics’ ‘Crossover’ #1 & #3 Get Second Printings

by Olly MacNamee

Even with a generous overprinting, Vault Comics’ Hollow Hearts #1 still sold out. Co-created by writer/letterer Paul Allor Kraus (GI Joe, TMNT, Tet), and artist Paul Tucker (Tet), with design by Tim Daniel. The full synopsis can be read below:

“EL used to be human. Now he’s a jumble of organs in a bio-suit. El is also in tremendous pain and has been for a very long time. Hope arrives in the form of Mateo, a mechanic brought in to work on EL’s suit. Mateo sees EL in a way no one else ever has. And what’s more: Mateo offers EL an escape. Hollow Heart reunites Tet creators Paul Allor and Paul Tucker for a queer monster love story about the choices we make between giving our loved ones what they want and giving them what we think they need”.

Look out for Hollow Hearts #1 second printing in shops on Wednesday March 24th from Vault Comics.

We also have news that Donny Cates has two of his books going back for second printings. Crossover #1 and Crossover #3 – with art by Geoff Shaw (Thanos Wins), colour art by Dee Cunniffe (Redneck) and lettering by John. J. Hill (Nailbiter) – both get second printings and both will be out on Wednesday March 24th from Image Comics.

“In Crossover #3, there are monsters and robots falling from the sky! Mysterious (and familiar??) superheroes joining our intrepid gang on their journey to event ground zero! The story continues with the series’ most explosive and shocking issue to date! Don’t miss this one, folks. If you do, it just might drive you… mad.”
