Nathan Summers Contends With His Future Self In ‘Cable’ #12 This June

Writer Gerry Duggan and artist Phil Noto have been telling the story of young Nathan Summers in the present in Cable. Their masterplan for mutantkind’s greatest soldier concludes in June with Cable #12 as the young version of the character contends with his grizzled war veteran future self. The past and future Nathan Summers collide that sets him on a new path.
“I was grateful to be reunited with Cable in this exciting new era of the X-Men, and even more excited to be reunited with one of my most important collaborators, and friends. Phil Noto and I have wrenched on a lot of comics together, and this one will be immortal because of his sublime work,” Duggan said. “On your feet, soldiers, we have our most dangerous battle in the final chapter.”
Cable #12 is described as “the end of an era and the beginning of a new age” for the character. Look for it at your local comic shop on June 30th, 2021.
