‘Wonder Egg Priority’ Reminds Me Why I Love Anime
by Tito W. James
I’ve been watching Anime for over a decade now. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the weird. I’ve noticed the trends and can recite the clichés by heart. But every once and a while there comes a show that reminds me of what is was like to experience Anime for the first time in all its bizarre glory.
Wonder Egg Priority fallows a young girl who is given a mysterious egg in a dream. When it hatches she gains a new friend and also must face a world of her worst nightmares. The anime balances the fantastic with the painfully real struggles of adolescents who’ve been through trauma. Wonder Egg Priority is bursting with creativity, charm, and suspense. It’s truly unlike anything I’ve seen before and reminds me why I love Anime.
You can watch Wonder Egg Priority now on Funimation.
