‘Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’ Releases DLC, ‘Trunks: The Warrior Of Hope’ Soon

Bandai-Namco revealed the third and final DLC for their open-world RPG, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot recently. Entitled, ‘Trunks: The Warrior of Hope’, it’s an entirely new storyline set in the side universe that Future Trunks comes from. In that world, Goku dies from a mysterious heart virus. With him gone, the Z Fighters are forced to confront the Androids and are unable to survive. The Androids lay waste to the world for over a decade, and the DLC picks up with Trunks and Gohan as the last remaining fighters that can protect the planet.
This deals with the canon storyline “The History of Trunks”, which explains what Trunks had to deal with before he traveled to the other timeline to tell Goku and the others about the Androids. Currently, Bandai-Namco has scheduled the release of this DLC for sometime in the summer.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
