‘The Shield’ Returns This June With An Archie Comics One-Shot

Patriotic superhero The Shield returns this June with a one-shot comic that kicks off a re-imagined Mighty Crusaders mini-series from Archie Comics.

Written and illustrated by Rob Liefeld, with letters by Jack Morelli, the four-issue series of one-shots spanning the Mighty Crusaders assortment of superhero characters begins on June 30, 2021 with the launch of The Mighty Crusaders: The Shield #1.

Featuring about a thousand variant covers by artists such as Liefeld, Francesco Francavilla, Aaron Lopresti, David Mack, and Jerry Ordway, Mighty Crusaders: The Shield #1 hits the spinner racks on June 30, 2021.
