‘Star Wars’ Celebrates Pride Month With Variant Covers

Marvel’s celebrations of Pride Month are now reaching to a galaxy far, far away. The publisher already announced a special one-shot anthology and a series of variant covers for Marvel Universe titles by Phil Jimenez. Now that same variant program is extending to the Star Wars titles this June by artists Javier Garron, Babs Tarr, Jacopo Camagni, JJ Kirby, and Stephen Byrne. While we know those are coming, we haven’t seen them yet. For now, feast your eyes on the Pride over for Star Wars: Doctor Aphra #11 by Jan Bazaldua and colorist Rachelle Rosenberg.
“This talented team of artists is bringing so much passion and enthusiasm to these covers,” Editor Tom Groneman said. “For me, sharing that passion with fans and readers is a wonderful celebration of the most unique, compelling, and iconic characters in the Star Wars galaxy.”
