James Gunn Announces ‘The Suicide Squad’ Trailer For Tomorrow

James Gunn is adding to tomorrow’s schedule in a big way. Besides new episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Solider and Wynonna Earp, and the debut of Invincible, Gunn and Warner Bros. Pictures will finally unleash a red band trailer for The Suicide Squad. It’s going to be a busy day.
The film will see the formation of a new Task Force X — Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin, and Harley Quinn — as they head to the island nation of Corto Maltese for a mission of, well, some significance. And considering tomorrow’s trailer will be red-band, their wet-working will probably be quite violent. We can’t wait. Besides returning players Viola Davis, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney and Joel Kinnaman, the film will see the debuts of David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Steve Agee, Flula Borg, Idris Elba, Peter Capaldi, Pete Davidson, Alice Braga, John Cena and more in the DC Films universe.
The Suicide Squad hits theaters and HBO Max on August 6th, 2021.
