Everything you’d want to know about the Reploids in Mega Man X has been collected in the Mega Man X: Maverick Hunters Field Guide, coming in August from UDON Entertainment. Penned by David Oxford and Nadia Oxford, this guide explores these notable games that took the fan-favorite franchise in a bold new direction as a new hero picks up the Mega Buster to face off against rogue Reploids called Mavericks threatening humanity in the 22nd century.
The Mega Man X: Maverick Hunter’s Field Guide includes detailed profiles of every dangerous Maverick along with other important characters like X, Zero, Axl, Sigma, Vile, and more. It also features a detailed appendix section featuring X’s armors, vehicles, and the various forms of Sigma. The Guide has a mix of classic Capcom art and new images from Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz.
Clocking in at 184 pages, the Mega Man X: Maverick Hunter’s Field Guide hardcover will retail for $29.99. It’s set for release on August 17th, 2021 and is currently available for pre-order at your local comic shop, bookstore, and Amazon.
