Johns And Frank’s ‘Geiger’ #1 Sells Out Even Before Hitting Stores Next Week

by Olly MacNamee

Even before it’s hit the shelves Geoff Johns and Gary Frank’s Geiger #1 has sold out at the distribution level. And while a second printing will be out Wednesday 28th April – with two new covers – you may want to get down to your local store quickly next Wednesday 7th April to see if you can’t get hold of a first printing.

Both covers will be by Frank, with cover B coming out as a 1:25 incentive cover. But ahead of that, there will also be the chance to get a Glow in the Dark variant of Geiger #1 on Wednesday 21st April too. So, plenty of chances to get a copy to read. Hopefully stores will limit the amount of copies customers can buy allowing as many fans as possible to enjoy this new book from the team that brought you Doomsday Clock as well as one of my all-tie favourite runs of Action Comics too!

Cover A

“Geiger is set in the years after a nuclear war ravaged the planet where desperate outlaws battle for survival in a world of radioactive chaos. Out past the poisoned wasteland lives a man even the Nightcrawlers and Organ People fear. Some name him Joe Glow, others call him the Meltdown Man. But his name… is Geiger.”
