PEN 15‘s Maya Erskine is going from Hulu comedy to Disney+’s Star Wars universe.

Deadline reports the actor has joined the cast of the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series. Details about her character are, of course, unavailable, but the site claims she will appear in three of the program’s episodes. Set ten years after Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) settles into his life as a hermit called “Ben” on Tatooine’s Dune Sea. Although, his life may not be so quiet with Hayden Christensen returning as Darth Vader. And even without Imperial entanglements, the sands of Tatooine are plenty dangerous with Krayt Dragons, Tusken Raiders, the Hutt Syndicate, and Obi-Wan’s contentious relationship with Owen and Beru Lars (Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse) pushing the Jedi exile further into isolation. Of course, it is always possible adventure will find him. That does seem to be his lot in life.

Maybe that’s what ages him into Alec Guinness by the time of the Original Trilogy.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will likely begin production soon and arrive on Disney+ in 2022.
