Nintendo Reveals ‘Game Builder Garage’

by Sage Ashford

Nintendo invites players to “learn to make games from the minds at Nintendo” with the announcement of Game Builder Garage, coming on June 11th.  The game’s home page promises the title will be about making game development fun and focuses on the basics of programming and design with step-by-step instructions in the game’s “lesson mode”.

The game will allow players to follow these lessons to build seven games with the help of special creations known as Nodon, including Tag Showdown, On a Roll, and Thrill Racer, though it also promises the freedom to create their own games in the game’s Free Programming mode and share them with people online.

Game Builder Garage will retail for $29.99 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
