Something For The Weekend: Your Weekly Round Up Of Popular News, Previews And More

Another week to look back on and offer up ten more popular post for you to check out. So, once more I ask, what have people been keen to read about here on Comicon.com?

  1. Well, James Ferguson brought us an exclusive preview for Archie Comics’ preview for Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #293 seemed to really hit the mark with you, our readers. Check in on it here.
  2. Another popular preview we posted this past week was for Marvel’s Heroes Reborn #1. But then, it was one of the bigger releases of the week.
  3. DC Comics got a look in too with our preview for Green Lantern #2 here.
  4. There was a large amount of new gaming news announced this past week or so with Sage Ashford reporting on a new trailers for The VansheeQuantum Knights, Destruction All-Stars expansion, and new game footage for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
  5. The news of Robert Kirkman and Chris Samnee’s Fire Power #12 being an over-sized anniversary issue with a shed load of variant covers also caught your eyes this week. Have a look at the stellar line up of artists producing variants here.
  6. On the film front, Koom Kankesan reappraised the Harold & Kumar films here.
  7. And on the TV front we get news, from EiC Erik Amaya, that Stargirl is being renewed for a third season here.

  10. Lastly, we lost John Paul Leon last weekend to a 14 year-long battle with cancer. An artist’s artist, you can read more here.
