DC Comics Offers A First Look At Tom King And Bilquis Evely’s ‘Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow’ #1

June sees the release of Tom King’s latest maxi-series for DC Comics with Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow #1. Joining him will be artists Bilquis Evely and Mat Lopes as they send Supergirl—and sidekick Krypto— on a journey into space:

“In this first look into the new series, an alien girl seeks a mercenary for a vicious mission: her world has been destroyed and the bad guys responsible are still out there. She wants revenge! As fate would have it, Supergirl is celebrating her birthday on a planet with a red sun, so is close by when the exchange goes sideways!”

Not ony do we get a good look at the first issue but we also get to see the covers for the next two subsequent issues and a variant cover by Gary Frank. Nice!

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, a new eight-issue limited series and launches on Tuesday June 15th from DC Comics.
