First Look: Blurred Lines Between Friend And Foe In ‘Power Rangers’ #7

by Brendan M. Allen

Two New Series. Two New Teams. The Era of Unlimited Power continues here, and only Lord Drakkon, the Rangers’ greatest enemy, can save them in May 2021.

BOOM! Studios has revealed a first look at Power Rangers #7 from writer Ryan Parrott, artist Francesco Mortarino, colorists Raúl Angulo and Jose Enrique Fernández, and letterer Ed Dukeshire, in conjunction with the Mighty Morphin series.

‘The Omega Rangers and Drakkon are on the run in space, but they must find new allies if they want to defeat the Empyreals. But that means trusting someone they’re not sure is friend or foe if they are to save the universe. And then… there’s Drakkon.’

Featuring main cover art by Matteo Scalera and variant cover art by artists Daniele Di Nicuolo and Peach Momoko, Power Rangers #7 hits the spinner racks on May 19, 2021.

Brendan Allen has probably had more jobs than you would reasonably believe. Dog trainer? He’s done it. Flooring contractor? You bet! EMT? Army NBC specialist? Road dog for a Celtic rock band? Yes, yes, and och aye! Now he reads comics and writes about them. It's a rough gig. You can follow Brendan on Twitter @SaintAmish where he tweets about comic books and cystic fibrosis awareness.
