DC Horror’s ‘The Conjuring: The Lover’ #1 Gets A Second Printing

by Olly MacNamee

The debut issue of the comic book tie-in to Warner Bros. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It has sold out and is destined for a second printing.

“The Conjuring: The Lover expands the tragic story of Jessica, a college freshman returning to campus after winter break who soon comes to realize that something evil has made her its target, and it will not rest until it has her in its unholy grip. The Conjuring: The Lover is a fantastic expansion on the lore and universe of New Line and Warner Bros. The Conjuring franchise, and a love letter to horror pulps.”

The Conjuring: The Lover #1, written by David L. Johnson-McGoldrick (one of the screenwriters for The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) and Rex Ogle (Free Lunch), with art by Garry Brown (Catwoman, Black Road), will be available on Tuesday July 13th with a new variant cover from artist Garry Brown. A cover we can share with you below:

Meanwhile, you can watch The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do I on HBO Max or in cinemas now. You may even fond the odd city of a first printing out there too. But, I wouldn’t hang around if you’re keen to see what all the fuss is about.
