‘Rainbow Six: Extraction’ Shows Off Both Story And Gameplay, Releasing September 16th

by Sage Ashford

During the Ubisoft Forward press conference, the company re-revealed Rainbow Six: Extraction. First shown during E3 2019, Rainbow Six: Extraction is a 1-3 player co-op, tactical first-person shooter in which players take well-known Rainbow Six operatives and work together to fight against a new threat. Players will have access to eighteen different Operators, each of which have their own play style which can be customized as well.

Players will also be able to go into four different areas across America, each struggling to contain the Archaen, while dealing with procedurally generated threats to make sure no two play-throughs are the same. Perhaps most interesting: if an Operator falls in battle, that Operator will become unavailable until the player goes in to extract them.

Rainbow Six: Extraction will launch for PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as PC and Stadia on September 16th.
