E3 2021: Reveals From The Freedom Games Spotlight

by Gary Catig

Indie publishing label, Freedom Games, is probably one of the lesser-known companies to have their own spotlight at E3 2021. They unveiled their upcoming catalog and there were quite a few number of games shown in such a short period of time.

Afterburner Studios’ Dreamscaper is a surreal rogue-lite action RPG that will hit PCs via steam and the Nintendo Switch on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021.

The modern monster-taming RPG, Coromon, has many similarities to the Pokémon series. Players will tame electric creatures and battle against other trainers.

One Lonely Outpost is a space frontier farm simulator where you voyage to and colonize a distant planet. It will hit Steam Early Access in the first quarter of 2021 followed by launches on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

They will have offerings that will cater to both cat and dog people. Cat Café Manager is a charming sim about restoring a family’s feline focused bistro. To the Rescue! is a dog shelter management sim from Little Rock Games. In conjunction with The Petfinder Foundation, 20% of sales from the game will be donated to support the adoption of our furry friends. Cat Café Manager and To the Rescue will be released on PC and Nintendo Switch in early 2022 and the third quarter of 2021 respectively.

Anuchard is a civilization restoration action RPG developed by stellarNull in partnership with Microsoft through the Xbox Diversity Fund. It will arrive on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in the first quarter of 2022.

Freedom Games is also bringing the acclaimed city-builder in the sky, Airborne Kingdom to consoles later this year. The retro inspired 2D tower defense survival game, Monster Outbreak, received its first public gameplay reveal. It was also announced that its launch window would be in 2022 for PC.

Slaughter League is a deadlier version of American Ninja Warrior. Players manage an extreme obstacle course with fatal consequences in this game show racing platformer. Finally, Tower Rush and Sands of Aura are planned to be released on Steam in 2022.
