Bandai-Namco released a trailer for their upcoming title, Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles, focusing on the game’s story mode. Though Hinokami Chronicles is meant to be a fighting game, from the looks of things the story mode is about as detailed as it would be for a single-player game. The trailer itself focuses on the early parts of the manga, dealing with Tanjiro first being trained to become a Demon Slayer and the Final Selection trials that he’s forced to undergo.
However, these aren’t the only things in the game, as there are hints of the Lower Demon Moon, Rui, in the trailer as well. Judging by the characters available in the game, the game’s story will take players up to the end of the first season and the Mugen Train storyline.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles releases October 14th for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and PC.
