Rock And Roll Meets Punk In Electric Frankenstein’s New Kickstarter

by Brendan M. Allen

Releasing over 100 records all over the world since their inception in 1992, Electric Frankenstein is where AC/DC meets The Dead Boys. EF’s high energy punk rock and roll combines the raw and energetic sounds of Punk Rock and Garage Punk with elements of hard rock.

Electric Frankenstein asked over 100 artists to create short comics based on the lyrics of their songs. What was born was sometimes beautiful and poetic, but other times just downright disturbing and raw.

Sal Canzonieri, Electric Frankenstein co-band founder says

There are 125 songs fully illustrated by great artists from all over the world, from various types of styles. Pretty much many of my favorite artists are in the book and many new ones for our fans to discover. The book looks like a demented children’s book, hahaha!

Backer rewards start at $20 for a swag bag containing posters, postcards, a sticker, and a pin. From there, tiers escalate to digital copies of the book, hard and soft cover copies, vinyl records, and a skateboard deck (trucks and grip tape not included). Check out the campaign here.
