Tropical Shonen Animated Project ‘Tiempos Hibridos’ Now On Kickstarter

Tiempos Hibridos is a tropical SciFi shonen inspired by Studio Ghibli, Moebius, and Ursula K. Le Guin. The cartoon follows a band of rebels who fight an evil neo-colonial corporation and seek to restore the ecosystems of their dying planet.

The Kickstarter campaign aims to create an animated opening in hopes that Tiempos Hibridos may be developed into a full series or lead to other projects in a similar vein. The art and design are simply superb — if this is what the next generation of animated content is going to look like, then we’re in for a treat!
